Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

The App provides video editing and related creative tools that may allow you to:

  • Import photos and videos from your device
  • Create and manage video projects
  • Trim, split, crop, rotate, and edit media
  • Add music, audio, voiceovers, effects, transitions, and other elements
  • Apply visual effects and editing adjustments
  • Export edited videos and photos
  • Save exported content to your Photo Library
  • Access additional features through paid subscriptions or purchases

Features may vary depending on your App version, device, subscription status, and availability.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.

If you are using the App on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. User Content

The App may allow you to import, create, edit, store, and export content, including videos, photos, audio recordings, music, text, and other materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content.

You are solely responsible for the content you create, import, edit, or export using the App.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own your User Content or have the necessary rights and permissions to use it.
  • Your User Content does not unlawfully infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • You will not use the App to create or distribute unlawful content.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws when using the App.

We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

4. Your Responsibility for Content

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate rights and permissions for any photos, videos, music, recordings, logos, images, or other materials that you use in your projects.

The App does not grant you ownership or licensing rights to third-party content that you import or use.

You should obtain appropriate permission before using copyrighted or otherwise protected material.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional subscriptions and/or one-time purchases that provide access to premium features.

Available plans may include monthly, yearly, lifetime, or other purchase options.

Prices and available plans may change from time to time.

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's applicable terms and conditions.

Subscription Terms

If you purchase an auto-renewable subscription:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription may automatically renew unless automatic renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
  • Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current subscription period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID/App Store account settings.
  • Deleting the App does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.

Any free trial or promotional period, if offered, will be subject to the terms displayed at the time of purchase.

6. Refunds

Payments and refunds for purchases made through Apple's App Store are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's applicable policies.

We do not directly process refunds for App Store purchases.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you should contact Apple through the appropriate App Store support channels.

7. Premium Features

Some features may only be available to users with an active subscription or eligible purchase.

Premium features may include, depending on the plan:

  • Higher-resolution exports
  • Higher frame-rate exports
  • Premium transitions and effects
  • Removal of watermarks
  • Ad-free usage
  • Additional audio and editing features
  • Additional projects or assets
  • Other premium functionality

We reserve the right to modify, add, remove, or change premium features at any time, subject to applicable law.

8. Advertisements

The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising providers.

Advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your device settings, permissions, applicable laws, and advertising configuration.

Your use of the App may be subject to the terms and privacy practices of third-party advertising providers.

9. Permissions

Certain App features require access to device functionality, including:

  • Photo Library
  • Microphone
  • Tracking, where applicable

You can control these permissions through your iOS device settings.

If you deny or revoke a permission, certain App features may not function correctly or may become unavailable.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, interface, graphics, trademarks, logos, features, and other materials provided by us, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not:

  • Copy or reproduce the App
  • Modify or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Attempt to extract the source code
  • Create derivative works based on the App
  • Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App
  • Remove proprietary notices
  • Use our intellectual property without authorization

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe intellectual-property rights
  • Violate another person's privacy or publicity rights
  • Distribute illegal or harmful content
  • Upload malicious software or code
  • Attempt to interfere with the operation of the App
  • Circumvent security or access controls
  • Reverse engineer the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or services
  • Abuse, exploit, or manipulate subscription or premium features
  • Use the App for fraudulent or deceptive activities

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe the App is being misused.

12. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services, including services provided by:

  • Apple
  • Google AdMob
  • Google Firebase
  • RevenueCat

These services may have their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to those providers' respective terms.

13. App Availability

We attempt to keep the App available and functional, but we do not guarantee that:

  • The App will always be available
  • The App will operate without interruptions
  • All features will always be available
  • The App will be compatible with every iOS device or version
  • Errors or defects will always be corrected immediately

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the App at any time.

14. Updates

We may release updates, bug fixes, security updates, improvements, or new features.

You may need to install updates to continue using certain features of the App.

Some updates may be installed automatically depending on your device and App Store settings.

15. Data and Project Loss

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your projects and User Content.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss of User Content, projects, edits, or other data resulting from:

  • Device failure
  • Accidental deletion
  • App removal
  • Operating-system changes
  • Storage limitations
  • Software errors
  • User actions
  • Third-party services
  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We recommend keeping appropriate backups of important content.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no warranties or representations that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or completely reliable.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

This may include loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, or other indirect losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, service providers, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the App
  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of another person's rights
  • Your violation of applicable laws

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or use the App in a manner that may harm the App, its users, or our services.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

Termination does not automatically provide a refund for purchases made through the App Store. Refunds are subject to Apple's policies.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of these Terms.

Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms.

21. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the applicable legal entity providing the App is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.

22. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and conditions.

Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, maintenance, support, or warranty obligations.

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you where applicable.
